DanaSai Foundation and Charitable Trust

DanaSai Foundation and Charitable Trust was incubated initially as cloud funding initiative during the pre-covid era. The advent of pandemic gave way to serve people in remote villages and towns through series of initiatives covering Education and Livelihood for deserving people.

Why Education?
Education is the best way to achieve parity between the richer and poorer sections of society. While this is well -established, we in DanaSai believe the funding of education as the beginning of the process to achieving true equality between the different sections.

Every child has a right to education irrespective of caste, creed or community or economic status. While the Government has ensured compulsory education through the age of 14, the deserving students need further encouragement be it through Infrastructure, financial assistance and nutrition.

We at DanaSai strive each of the facets mentioned above through various initiatives such as
1. Provide financial assistance through a thorough screening process to identify the most deserving students.
2. Assistance is provided to both urban students as well those residing in Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns which have very little access to sponsors. This is reflected in our funds disbursement which is more towards towns and villages and forms more than 50% of our total disbur
sement.
3. Help fund infrastructure projects by building classrooms, toilets, digital classrooms etc. 4. Promote a healthy environment in schools through sports and other extra-curricular activities
5. Aid any project that help deliver nutrition to the students

Nearly 66% of our funding is towards education in schools, the remaining 34% is towards helping students complete their graduation so that they can embark on their journey towards a career.

Currently, we have built Classrooms in Government School, Oomachikulam, Madurai District.

We just completed the State of Art Dining Hall in association with Thenpulam Trust at Madurai Study Centre.
